Hogller pressure transmitter / HOF series, is among flush diaphragm pressure transmitters with a robust and compact design, which is manufactured in Germany. It covers a wide range of different applications with a high level of accuracy. Diaphragm of these series is made of stainless steel 304. HOF series body is made of robust, high quality stainless steel 304, which brings stability and high resistance for these series.
Information like part number, pressure measurement range, output, power supply, CE certification and exclusive serial number of each sensor, is carven on the body of these series.
At the upper part of HOF pressure transmitters, there are four pins. Electrical connection of these series is DIN EN 175301-803 C (DIN 43650 C). This kind of connection adds IP65 protection standard to other features of HOF series.
At the lower part of the sensor, there stands a flush diaphragm thread pressure port to connect to the process. Totally, Hogller has considered two mechanical connections of G 1" and G 1/2" for HOF series. Other kinds of mechanical connection are also available in case of customization.

In both kinds of the connection, in order to have a better sealing of the connecting part to the process, one sealing washer (O-ring) FKM designed in line with DIN 3869, having high chemical and thermal resistance, is used.
Reference pressure in HOF series is Gauge (Relative). It is important to mention that this series are Vented Gauge. That means a vent path behind the sensor diaphragm has been considered, in order to exchange the atmospheric pressure. Thus, environmental changes (changes in atmospheric pressure) have no impact on the sensor’s output at zero point (without any pressure applied).
HOF sensing elements have used Piezoresistive technology. That brings excellent accuracy and long term stability for these series.
HOF series are available in various pressure ranges from [0 … 100] mbar to [0 … 100] bar. These series are resistant to overpressure up to three times more than the nominal pressure. They are also resistant to burst pressure up to four times more than the nominal pressure.

HOF series are available only with current output (4 - 20 mA). Other different outputs including 0 – 5 VDC, 0 – 10 VDC, 0.5 – 4.5 VDC Ratiometric and I²C are optionally ready to deliver.
Accuracy in HOF series is equal to 0.35 % FS in room temperature (RT) and that includes Non-Linearity, Non-Repeatability, Hysteresis, Zero and Final Offset in accordance with IEC 61298-2.
In HOF series different permissible temperature conditions are defined for using the sensor, including:
Media Temperature: [-20 … +100] °C
Permissible temperature range of fluid related to sensor.
Ambient Temperature: [-20 … +80] °C
Permissible temperature range of installation area of sensor.
Storage Temperature: [-20 … +100] °C
Temperature range of sensor’s maintenance (being turned off)
Compensated Temperature: [-20 … +80] °C
Compensator temperature range in which sensors have the best function
